Well, I hope I haven't made you have to run cross-country to save my ass too often. [She laughs easy. Nancy makes doing generators easy, to find help easy, with how she's able to somehow corral them all onto one where and when possible.
A helpful ability, where's Kate's are better for running, evading capture, and getting out of capture.]
The alcohol here had nothing on the potency of the stuff from Glenvale. Maybe that's why she'd underestimated it, had more to drink than she normally would. It's been a long time since she tasted something half decent, something actually palatable.
And normally, normally she'd have a little more tact about hitting on someone, but all of this has definitely flown out the window in the face of her current circumstances, and she is but a passenger in a vehicle about to crash.
Ah well. Still not the worst thing that's ever happened to her.
Morgan is grabbed by her upper arm and pulled close, but she's got a smile that's all warmth and her tone is clearly flirtatious as she utters one of the worlds worst pickup lines:
"Hey, hun. Come here often?"
Her accent is almost aggressively southern, at this point.
Unfortunately we ain't that lucky. [But, she's glad that she chose Susie to share it with, because she's cute as she licks her fingers clean of the remainder of her sandwich.]
I ain't too worried though. I can think of at least one thing that tastes better than that sandwich, as nice as it was.
[ susie's still eating but she takes a final bite in the end. absolutely ate it like "a baby lion feeding on an injured gazelle and it tasting fresh blood for the first time." ]
You leaving a mark is the last thing I'd ever be concerned about.
Actually it's kind of funny that hickies last so long here, if I'm honest. I guess the Entity can heal various stab wounds and being cut in two, but god forbid it does anything about a love bite.
[Everyone is back, in more or less one piece after a trial that was... Well, It was a miracle the first generator got done, let alone the last one. Sometimes things just look bleak when they aren't, or maybe pity was taken on their absolute tomfoolery.
It's always hard to tell with killers.
But it's quiet now, and Kate wraps a bandage from a medkit around Cheryl's slightly mangled hand delicately and carefully. There's others here, but they're at the main portion of the fire with David bragging and boasting loudly as always as they patch up.]
That's not too tight is it, sugar? I know it'll mend itself after a bit, but this should help it while it does just that.
[ There's some things Cheryl thinks she'll never adjust to here. For one, it's some of the killers they were forced against. She never really had issues with the Trapper, but now the Trickster was a whole new terror she learning about. Any time they faced him she felt like a pile of flesh ribbons after. It cannot be a good look, really.
At the very least, though, they all made it out this time. She doesn't even try to think what the entity could be doing to the loser right now either.
Instead she tries to focus on the other young woman with her. About this brief moment of respite they can share for now. Even with David squawking in the background. ]
Naaah... it's fine. Don't think there's any harm in treating it really.
[ At least infections didn't seem to be a thing here? That probably wouldn't be very entertaining after all. She gently flexes her hand to test it; all clear. ]
You were really amazing out there, Kate. Heh, that gaudy guy definitely wasn't ready for a runner like you.

[
it's because Nancy doesn't ever want to be in the position where she thinks she's better off alone, ever again.but they won't go into that. ]Sooooo ... your favorite Smiths song? [ she's mostly collected now. ]

I know, for a fact, you are not insinuating that I need music to dance.
A beer would be nice right about now, though.

[Easy to picture his own smile at that too.]
But I think we'd both appreciate better floors, some lighting, and to be somewhere where the only concern is not spilling beer on oneself.
But I would just enjoy the opportunity to drink anything, really.

Now you're just being modest, I see.
I think you could really work my bra if you put your mind to it.

Wine has a stronger alcohol content than beer.
